In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, perform installations, and ensure every job meets applicable state and local codes and Capps' quality standards.
The ideal candidate is a skilled, reliable professional with at least 24 months of experience on an apprentice card and a strong knowledge of trade tools, materials, and plumbing codes. The right candidate will thrive in a team-oriented, growth-focused environment and be committed to delivering exceptional service with attention to detail.
Compensation & Commission
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications.
- 5% Commission Program in addition to your regular hourly wage.
- Journeyman Plumbers have the opportunity to earn an additional $1,000–$3,000 per month in commission on top of their regular wages.

Core Responsibilities
- Report daily to the central Wheeling location before traveling to job sites.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues in compliance with state and local plumbing codes.
- Perform plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs using proper tools, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship, safety, and attention to detail on every job.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, explaining plumbing issues and recommended solutions.
- Provide professional, reliable service that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
