Position Summary

In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, perform installations, and ensure every job meets applicable state and local codes and Capps' quality standards.

The ideal candidate is a skilled, reliable professional with at least 24 months of experience on an apprentice card and a strong knowledge of trade tools, materials, and plumbing codes. Compensation & Commission

  • Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications.
  • 5% Commission Program in addition to your regular hourly wage.
  • Journeyman Plumbers have the opportunity to earn an additional $1,000–$3,000 per month in commission on top of their regular wages.

Core Responsibilities

  • Report daily to the central Wheeling location before traveling to job sites.
  • Diagnose and repair plumbing issues in compliance with state and local plumbing codes.
  • Perform plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs using proper tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship, safety, and attention to detail on every job.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, explaining plumbing issues and recommended solutions.
  • Provide professional, reliable service that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
